40–50 denier tights offer a semi-opaque finish that gently enhances the leg with a natural, slightly sheer look—lightweight, breathable, and ideal for transitional 70 denier tights provide full opacity for a smooth, uniform appearance with added warmth, durability, and coverage. The higher the denier, the less skin shows through and the more structure, comfort, and protection you get.
Absolutely.
We carefully select soft, breathable yarns and smooth finishes to help minimize irritation. Many of our styles also feature skin-friendly details such as cotton blend gussets, soft waistbands, and lightweight, breathable constructions that allow the skin to feel more comfortable throughout the day.
That said, sensitivity can vary from person to person. For individuals with very reactive skin, we generally recommend choosing styles with higher natural fiber content (like cotton blends) and avoiding overly tight fits or harsh detergents to ensure the best wearing experience.
Most modern tights are made with nylon and elastane (Lycra), which are designed to be stretch-recover fibers. This means they are built to return to their original shape after wearing them, rather than permanently shrinking. In normal use and proper washing, they should maintain their fit and elasticity.

To preserve the luxurious feel and durability of your garments, we recommend gentle hand washing. If using a washing machine, select the most delicate cycle available with cold water and like colors only.

Since intense heat and harsh agitation are the primary causes of shrinkage and fabric degradation, following our care guidelines is key: wash gently by hand or on the most delicate machine cycle with cold water, and always opt for a natural drip dry over the tumble dryer.
